Booking Terms & Conditions – issued 20/04/2014
By paying your deposit/full balance for the camp(s) means you understand and agree to these terms and conditions. Please read through and get in touch if you have any questions.
Camp Conﬁrmation :
Your place on a camp shall be provisionally reserved once the deposit has been received.
The full payment for the camp must be paid at least 60 days prior to the camp start date. If this has not been paid within the 60 day timeframe your place shall be cancelled and opened back up for public booking.
Cancellations By You:
No refunds will be given for any Nexus Camps cancelled by you. We will however give you credit towards another camp depending on how much notice is given.
– When written cancellation is received via email 60 days or more prior to the start date of your camp a 100% credit of original shall be given towards an alternative Nexus Camp.
– When written cancellation is received via email between 30 days and 59 days prior to the start date of your camp a 50% credit of original booking shall be given towards an alternative Nexus Camp.
– When written cancellation is received via email less than 30 days prior to the start date of your camp 0% credit shall be offered.

If cancellations are not in writing sent via email then no credit shall be offered towards another camp.
No refund will be given by Nexus Camps. This includes (but is not limited to) the following; illness, accident, resort closure due to weather conditions or mechanical failure, or for any other reason which can not be controlled by Nexus Camps. Travel insurance should be taken out by yourselves to cover for any unfortunate circumstances.
Nexus Camps reserves the right to cancel or amend its camp(s) for a range of reasons. In the unlikely event that Nexus Camps have to cancel/amend the details of your camp you will be offered the following options:
1) Accept the alterations
2) Accept an alternative camp through Nexus Camps that equates to the same value as the original. If the new camp is of higher value, the difference must be paid by you. If the new camp is of lower value, the difference in cost shall be compensated to your Nexus Camp account.
3) If no other Nexus Camp can be offered you shall receive a full refund from Nexus.
Nexus Camps Minimum:
All Nexus Camps require group of 4 customers. If the minimum number has not been reached we may need to change accommodation at short notice. The accommodation will be of equal standards to the original.
Right Of Refusal:
We reserve the right to prevent you from participating in any aspect of your selected Nexus Camp(s), if our staff feel you are unable to participate, do not have the suitable ability or ﬁtness needed, or if you appear to be under the inﬂuence of drugs or alcohol. If this occurs, no refund or other compensation will be owed by Nexus Camps.
Termination & Compensation:
Whilst on a Nexus Camp you are required to behave in a controlled and acceptable manner. We reserve the right at our own discretion to terminate the camp for people who indulge in serious misconduct. If we do so Nexus Camps will have no further responsibility or liability to you and contractual obligations shall be terminated. If you wilfully, and/or negligently damage any equipment, accommodation, property, vehicle or person or cause delay to transport which is provided by Nexus Camps, you agree to compensate us for any loss we may suffer including legal costs.
Medical Conditions & Previous Injuries:
It is vital that you inform Nexus Camps before booking onto any camp with us of pre existing medical conditions or injuries that may effect your ability to participate fully in one of our camps. If your medical condition changes between booking and starting the lesson you must inform us immediately. Examples include (but are not limited to): high/low blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, asthma, ligament problems/surgery, pregnancy, cancer, dizzyness and fainting, chest pains &/or shortness of breath during physical activity, bone and joint problems and any respiratory problems. We also need to know of any medication you are currently taking, any
major operations you have undergone and injuries you may be carrying. Any
information you inform us of will be strictly conﬁdential. Letting us know about any of the above allows us to alter our camps where appropriate to keep you safe and having fun at all times. If we feel appropriate, we may need you to provide us with a doctors note stating you are able to attend a Nexus Camp. We are not liable for any death, personal injury or illness that occurs from your participation that is a result of a pre-existing medical condition/injury/illness that you did not make us aware of.
Consent To Medical Treatment:
You (the attendee of Nexus Camps) hereby consent to any emergency medical treatment being provided to you if needed and authorise Nexus Camps to sign any authorisation or consent to any essential treatment that may be required by the health care provider. We shall do all we can to contact your emergency contact in the event that medical attention is needed. Nexus Camps insurance does not insure its customers you are therefore obliged to insure yourself with an appropriate personal and third party policy to cover medical and rescue insurance (you should be covered for all areas of the sport) with a licensed agent. It is our assumption you will have this when attending Nexus Camps. Nexus Camps will not be liable to ‘front’ or cover any medical, rescue, 3rd party costs or any other costs that may arise through our professional decision to action items listed in ‘consent to medical treatment’ through failure to be adequately insured on your part.
In the event of death or personal injury to yourself, Nexus Camps does not accept liability if such death or personal injury is not through any fault of ours, our suppliers or is due to circumstances which we could not have avoided.
In the unlikely event you may have a complaint, you must inform us as soon as possible. This must be in writing via our email address – [email protected] We will conﬁrm receipt of your complaint, clarify it to conﬁrm understanding and do everything reasonable to settle the matter to your satisfaction and our own. If you do not inform us of your complaint immediately, we may not be able to investigate and address it fully. In this case we reserve the right not to deal with the complaint.
